Kimberly Lenzi, Ph.D.
(RNR Voted Best Fitness Instructor in N. Nevada for 2009)
Kim earned her doctorate in Psychology and a master’s certificate in Gerontology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her areas of interest include health psychology, aging, memory and cognitive science. Over the past 20 years, she has studied and practiced several disciplines of yoga. Among her favorite styles of yoga are Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Iyengar. She is a classically trained PMA® certified Pilates instructor and has worked with several second generation instructors including Jay Davis, Moses Urbano, and Kathryn Ross-Nash. Kimberly is dedicated to helping people age gracefully and remain physically independent throughout their life.
Rachel Gross
Rachel launched her career into Pilates in 2007 and has been training under the supervision of Kimberly Lenzi. She is dedicated the classic method and enjoys working with people to enhance their body awareness.
Iva Neveux
Iva was introduced to yoga in summer 1996 by her mom. At first she considered yoga a tool that helped her remain flexible and fit. Later she began to notice the inner transformations yoga has brought to her life; finally in 2009 Iva decided to pursue and expand her understanding of yoga and started to teach this ancient art of living. As a yoga instructor she enjoys helping others improve their quality of life through all that yoga has to offer. Off the mat you can find Iva back-country skiing, hiking and camping in the Sierras as well as watercolor painting, playing piano, traveling and exploring different countries.
Mark Lord
Mark has practiced T’ai Chi for 30 years, including five years in Taiwan where he studied with Liu Hsi-Heng. With the blessing of Liu Hsi-Heng, Mark has been teaching classes in Reno since 1983.
